У Держдепі США озвучили підсумки переговорів із РФ

Delegations from the USA and Russia, negotiating in Saudi Arabia to end the war in Ukraine, have reached certain agreements on a number of issues. This was stated by the US State Department representative Tammy Bruce, as reported by Reuters on Tuesday, February 18.
“One phone call (referring to talks between Trump and Putin) and a subsequent meeting are not enough to establish a lasting peace. We must take action, and today we have taken an important step forward,” she said.
According to Bruce, during the negotiations, official representatives of the USA and Russia agreed to: create a consultation mechanism to address irritants in our bilateral relations in order to take necessary steps to normalize the functioning of our diplomatic missions, appoint respective high-level teams to begin working on the quickest possible cessation of the conflict in Ukraine in a manner that is strong, sustainable, and acceptable to all parties, lay the groundwork for future cooperation on issues of mutual geopolitical interest, as well as historical economic and investment opportunities that will arise from the successful conclusion of the conflict in Ukraine, remain engaged to ensure timely and productive progress in the process.
